Dupont Louisville, Kentucky boiler

In November 2006, Red Rock Power Partners LLC advised The Thermal Corporation LLC an investment vehicle controlled by Nicholas Singer of New York, NY acquire the Quixx LLC’s boiler in Louisville, Kentucky selling steam to Dupont.  The boiler island built in 1991 supplies up to 750,000 pounds per hour to Dupont fluorochemical manufacturing processes.  The primary products manufactured at this Dupont facility are fluorochemicals and high technology plastics. The boiler island will potentially be a component in a large future cogeneration facility should Dupont operations expand.
